Inverter firmware update caused loss of power to the house

First time since installation (2 weeks ago) - I saw on the Software tab that the inverter had a firmware update to apply. I saw that it would mean the inverter would restart. I hadn't connected that with the power to the house going down. I assume that's normal ?

It could have just been those circuits driven directly off the inverter (ie those which would quickly switch to battery in the event of a grid outage). I didn't think to check the other circuits while it was off.

[unknown] Several people have reported that after a firmware upgrade, one of the registers that controls the inverter output power had been adversely modified. Worth contacting support about it.
