When you say stopped working, what exactly do you mean? Showing offline in the App?
I get this very occasionally, usually just turning the power off to the SmartPlug for a couple of minutes then re-powering is enough and it connects itself back ok given some time.

Is a Givenergy smart plug Givenergy specific or can any plug be configured?
