My power graph shows battery flat at 100% for last 24 hours but battery out also show activity and I am not drawing down from the grid. so I am guessing this is faulty telemetry. I can't upload a screengrab to share so clearly not my day

deepfat I am not drawing down from the grid
Is that based on what GE reports, or an independent source (smartmeter IHD) ?
As it happens, the RCD had tripped on the supply to my inverter (seems to do this from time to time). This might result in the same diagnosis: minimal battery discharge (just enough to power inverter), but GE reports no grid activity. My Octopus mini, on the other hand, was showing import.
How come
I think I have the same fault/behaviour. I'm on a GivE hybrid 5kW with a gen2 8.2kWh battery on 3020.
The webportal and app both showing battery at 100%SOC from yesterday (it got fully PV charged around lunchtime). Since then, the %SOC hasn't dropped, although the house load has been covered by the discharging battery.
According to the detailed battery info, the battery is currently at 66%SOC, but the front page of the app shows 100%.
same issue, it's done the last 2 days for me. Jumps from 40/50% to 100% and stays there for a good couple of hours
[unknown] I think the detailed battery view shows the bms' value for SoC, which might be regarded as the internal value without any buffers, reserves, etc. Not sure if unbalanced cells could ever cause quite such a disparity. Do you routinely run the battery through a full charge/discharge cycle, as recommended?
To follow up in my case. I rang Givenergy this morning and they said one of the cells was having issues so they've done a calibration. Not finished yet but everything should go back to normal after it. Maybe give them a ring.
OP, have you had any luck solving this? I ran a calibration on my battery overnight. It does seem to work as expected now. (don't know for how long, will monitor my setup)
Yep mine has done this twice now, since the smart app I tried, battery SoC reading 100% while three hours dicharge at 3.6 KWh still reading 100, last time it came back the next day, but that mucked up the top overnight. once is a fluke, but second time its a software screw up, which has not happend to my system before this. I might try switching them off this evening and see if that forces a reset.

Well turned the invertor off, switch both batteries off with their isolators, isolated the invertor......and to my amazement......after the restart, and getting it all back online....still the same problem..worth a shot but total waste of time.
Mines doing this too, battery shows 100% but detailed battery info shows they’re actually at 59% ish. Inverter reboot has done nothing. Nothing extra is being added to the battery and it’s exporting to the grid instead of topping up the batteries
Mine is similar. Both my batteries are at are at 69% with not charging or discharging. occurring for last two days.
Upgraded firmware and battery and reset inverter has had no effect. the solar panels are exporting to the grid and we have been importing overnight?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
I'm on hold to GivEnergy so will report back if they ever answer
edit: have given up, hold music was getting too repetitive so I've messaged them on the new WhatsApp support method. They said they'd look at it but haven't asked for any detail about who I am so I'm not massively confident that anyone's looking at it
No response from GE still but batteries had hit 1% so before they went offline I manually switched everything off, each individual battery, master green switch, master red switch. Waited 30 secs and back on, the app now correctly reports the battery level at 1% and it’s charging from the grid.
Frustrated that I waited until 6pm to try that but luckily there’s still a bit of solar charging them
GE support has clearly gone rubbish. I’ve had nothing via the new WhatsApp thing despite chasing and no response to email

[unknown] Ive looked at your system, while on holiday, all looks to be normal
