Hello i have just switched to a TP Link Archer router, with an SPI firewall, everything seems to work until you try changing an Inverter setting. I wanted to add a charging slot for the battery, using the app no issues shown but nothing, tried again using the Web portal nothing. As a last resort I turned the firewall off, and it seems to have worked.

Any suggestions would be welcome as I don't really want to leave the firewall off.

i am no IT expert, but I guess you will need to create some sort of firewall rule to allow what you want to do through. I have HA and had to create a rule to allow remote connection to my home HA server (Raspberry PI). I seem to recall watching a YouTube video

there should be no need for any firewall changes. the Dongle initiates the session, the firewamm then should hold open and map it in the session table

I use TP-Link, Omada, which is the managed business stuff from TP link and I have no cuch rules needed in the SPI firewall settings and ive got 5 dongles hapilly chatting away.

We could try and increase the refresh rare of the donge, incase the session time on the router is too long.
Id need your dongle ID to set this at 60s, vs the default 300
