I'm a new customer and I've succeeded in linking my Octopus Go account with GivEnergy through the Smart Tariff tile in my dashboard. However, I can't get the Tariff Automation to work: I'm presented with two options, 'Standard 12:30AM - 4:30AM' and 'Off', so I select the first and click 'Submit'. This just gets me an endless spinning circle in the button.

I've tried asking GivEnergy about this, but I have not had a response to my email or to 'feedback' sent through the web site.

Any ideas please? The way things are at the moment - not much sun - means that my battery seems to be charging from the grid at peak rates...

If you are just on Octopus Go then there isn't really a reason to use the tariff automation. Just make sure eco mode is on and then if you want to, set a timed charge for your cheap period to whatever percentage you want.

Hey guys, this automation option is still not clear to me. I was not flux this summer so I programmed inverter manually now switched to cosy as we have a heat pump, but considering agile as it seems to be the cheapest option for winter. So what does the automation with smart tariff really do? Will it automatically set my inverter when to charge in cheapest slots or do I need to do it with set of rule manually in Octopus R&D portal anyway ?

Appreciate if anyone knows and can share please.

I've moved to Go from Intel Flux for winter, and the Smart Tariff has updated, but I don't see any option for tariff automations. Should be OK because I've set to eco and charge from 00:30 - 05:30, but really curious of how the tariff automation is supposed to work.
