am trying to update the 8.2kw battery firmware from 3012 to 3020 automatedly or manually using a usb fat32 4mb drive and will not work ,your app is telling me, that I am still offline ,battery deletes the install file after I have stall the usb drive. is this correct, what do I have to do to install the firmware?

i have watched the video on How To Manually Update Firmware 8.2 Batteries a couple of times and tried a number of 1g and 4g pen drives in fat16 and fat32 and will not work.
the battery does do a long beep when i switch the battery on
the app says i am still offline and asking for the upgrade in the software menu and the battery does not discharge at all .
what can i do to fix the problem
