Gen 2 HY5 using firmware D0.906-A0.906, 9.5KWHr battery using firmware 3009, installed around March 2023.
First thing I noticed were battery issues, with battery at permanent 0%, battery power at -1. battery temp at 0 deg. Battery voltage low notifications. Battery status LED is solid red, and the level indicator LED 1 is flashing green.
I have been trying to update firmware, with various issues, (more on that later) but looking back on the graphs I have noticed some strange battery behaviour.
At a previous day, looking at the system data graph, all seems to working fine with the battery charging and discharging correctly, then suddenly jumps from 41% to 100%, in 1 update cycle on the webpage, (I checked, and it was a standard 5 minute cycle, so no massive missing time). Everything seemed to carry on normally that day.
Then a few days later, the battery jumped from 82% to 100, and another day from 16% to 100%.
There seems to be correct temperature readings of 26 deg, so I assume the comms cable is fine.
This carried on for some time, but ended up with the battery at a permanent 0%, and the red status indicator.
Has anyone else seen anything like this.
I have since got the invertor upto firmware 920, but have problems updating the battery FW. it goes through the process of updating the ARM, and verifying, and then hangs (tried several times). I have cold booted, warm booted the inverter and battery and its DC breaker several times, independently and at the same time on several occasions, but can not seem to get the battery to update. So, before I concentrate on the FW update issue, I wondered if anyone has seen this odd battery behaviour.
