Givenergy Smart Plug setting a timer schedule.

The plug installed successfully into the app (Android) and can be switched on and off.
Has anyone managed to set up a timer, either from the app, Home Assistant or Alexa?
I know it's of minor importance to Givenergy but why sell it if it's not so SMART and incapable of supporting a simple timer?

I used to have one setup for an electric radiator my daughter used before I got my heat pump.

She would keep leaving it on, so I put a simple timer in to make sure it turned off at the end of my iog period.
