AIO+Predbat when AIO is export limited but solar is not

I have a question if Predbat can be configured to accommodate my situation.

Giv AIO with Predbat on home assistant.

My AIO is configured with a 3.6kw export limit. But the solar inverter (6kw) is not export limited. (Installer has gone bust).

Can you configure predbat to understand the inverter has an export limit but the solar isn’t. So it can understand how slowly a forced export will run but won’t think the solar is also limited and it’s Calcs assume a clipped export.

apps.yaml is configured with the inverters 6kw max input and output with the export limit set to 3600w.

My intention isn’t to limit the solar export. Just have predbat fully aware of my config.

short answer is I think no, predbat only has a single export model configuration in apps.yaml and it uses this to MODEL what your inverters do, it doesn't control your inverter at all.

Is your solar inverter wired into the PV input on the AIO or is it directly connected to the consumer unit?

If the solar inverter "goes through" the AIO then the AIO may enforce the export limit anyway by shutting off the inverter if the export power is too high. This is a guess, I don't have an AIO but I know they will shutoff the inverter in the event of a grid power failure.

I would be inclined to set the predbat export limit to 6kW so predbat models correctly. Its only when force exporting that you will get an incorrect plan due to the AIO limiting.

And final thing, if your DNO imposed a limit to your export and that hasn't been setup then its still your responsibility as the homeowner to respect the export approval given. You may need to get another installer in. Or depending on the inverter type it may be possible for this to be done remotely (e.g. solaredge).
Of course whether the DNO notices that in summer you are exporting more than your permit ...
