Hi all,

I have noticed that the EVC Charger Configuration now has the option to select Inverter Control Local - this had been greyed out for quite a long time. I was wondering if anyone who has a GivEnergy Inverter and EVC has enabled this at all and had it working? When my installed put it all in I asked him to install an extra CAT6 twisted pair cable in preparation for this feature just in case and it is connected at the EVC, however it is not connected at the Inverter yet. If anyone has this working could you advise where the connections need to be on the Inverter? I am currently using the Inverter Control Cloud.

Thanks in advance :-)

Paul

The people active here don't have the GE car charger.

I use Hypervolt.

@PaulTacchi, I also have the GivEnergy EVC (with AIO and gateway) and like you I currently use the "Inverter Control Cloud" option. However, I have a third party PV inverter and not a GivEnergy PV inverter as noted in the description, although I think the AIO qualifies as such. I would like to find out what the deal is with the "Inverter Control Local" option, and what the difference is compared with the "CT Meter" option. I've asked a similar question in the "GivEnergy Battery and EVC Owners" Facebook group but I'm drawing a blank there too.
