AIO Gateway Out Ethernet socket - what does it do?

So the manuals say that the Gateway must have a network cable running to the AIO Gateway In socket.

But what does he Gateway Out socket do and what plugs into a it? (The gateway has a single AIO socket which must be used. There is an unused DRM socket.)

I can't see anything in the manuals about this AIO "Gateway Out" socket.

My understanding is that the Giv-Gateway-In and Giv-Gateway-Out connections are internal connections between the Gateway and one or more AIO Inverter/Battery units and need to be wired up by your installer prior to commissioning.

Not to be confused with the Gateway/AIO LAN connections that connect the units to your home network and the GE cloud
