Battery problem

Yesterday morning I noticed my battery had not charged the night before.

When I got home from work yesterday the inverter and battery had no lights. It turned out the trip switch had gone off.

I switched it back on and the inverter seems to be fine.

I've checked the trip and pushed the on button at the side of the battery. Initially there was one green light, but that has changed to 4 red lights.

This morning there were no lights on the battery, but the inverter seems to be working.

when you turn the battery on, do you hear anything, a series of clicks and then the battery turns itself off?

if you turn the battery breaker off (either switch to the side of the battery or inline with the battery and the inverter if you have a Gen 1 battery) and then turn the battery on, does it stay on?
