System modes setting

I'm a new user and have found that my battery is not discharging during the day. Looking online, there is/was a system mode called "store for later use" which it seems to be doing. I can't find this option to turn it off. The app and dashboard both say I'm on "dynamic" but under heavy use during the day the battery doesn't do anything and the grid kicks in. Thanks.

a good starting point is -

• ensure Eco mode is enabled (make sure if on web porta the slider is green / enabled
• ensure all other modes such as timed discharge / timed export are disabled
• under battery settings ensure both discharge and charge rate are set to max
  With the above settings the battery should charge when there is more solar PV that than the house needs
  Provide the house needs from the sun first then the battery and then the grid

All those settings are correct so I've just installed the 3007 battery update. Fingers crossed!

I've had a similar experience. Not quite sure what is going on. The app seems to separate charge settings and discharge settings implying that you can use solar for one (charge) and timed for the other. My experience is that doing that has unexpected results like not charging the battery when there is plenty of solar to do that. I think there is a difference between the portal settings and the app settings interface and that means the inverter can't cope with all the potential settings combinations that the app can throw at it. I have reported this as a bug/feedback to Givenergy.
