I am currently using MyEnergyOptimiser, and wondering if either WanderWatt or PredBat might provide a better home automation solution. It does seem that PredBat may require additional hardware (ie a RaspberryPi) to run it off, but maybe they have developed it since those threads were posted. :

You can run it off a mac or pc if you wish. I run mine on my mac.
I am a big fan of PredBat and one huge advantage of it is that your control is local and will keep working if your internet connection goes down or the GivEnergy APIs cease to be available for any reason (such as insolvency).
I believe there is a web based Predbat now, but I have no knowledge about using it.
There’s a cloud version of predbat as Steve says. The cloud version, wonderwatt and myenergyoptimiser all work via the GivEnergy portal/API’s. There’s fans of each of them, they do slightly different things, but basically the same with different degrees of customisation and load/battery prediction.
The alternative is local control, the Rubik Cube Android app is probably the cheapest for battery scheduling, just a £10 one off fee and run it on an old Android device. Predbat requires a computer of some form to run it (and Home Assistant) on, either a Raspberry Pi, or a virtual machine on a windows or Mac PC. I run mine as a virtual PC under Windows but of course you need to run it 24x7
