If you’re using iOS, go to settings, apps, GivEnergy and then enable “clear app data on next launch” and try again

Fine on my android this morning.
It did die a couple of months ago because my old android phone was on an OS that was out of date and the phone could not be upgraded to a newer OS. Had to buy a reconditioned phone.
