Just out of interest has anyone tried signing on to the Giv Energy Offline Mode at all.
I signed in using my Inverter details and all I get is a basic screen with no readings and battery at 0%.

The app seems a little buggy as I got the same as you when I tried offline mode. I then went back to portal sign in and got exactly the same. Only when I killed the app and restarted it did portal then work.
I tried the same trick with offline mode and it worked on the second offline login.
That being said, all I could do was view the page, there were no options to do anything or further clickable details!

I tried logging into offline several times but still the same. At least 3 of us seem to have the same issue with it not working, hopefully Giv Energy will resolve the issue prior to charging their monthly fees
What is Offline mode? Doesn't it simply mean your inverter is offline?
I have Home and Away modes and both say Online. When I switch between them I get a yellow message at the Bottom saying Reading Locally or Reading from the cloud.

Given the lack of features it displayed I am not sure how much use it is in its current guise. It would seem more logical to me for them to restrict what you can do via the portal and app via portal login creds based on the paid for or free tier. Offline mode seems more of a last resort if the software co goes bust and they havent actually finished writing it yet....guess we will find out soon eh?
Just seems the there is much to be worked out/decided upon and then coded to take the concept of monthly charging to make it a realisation.

All, I could be wrong but yesterday when my access to the cloud was stopped due to the NEW Single sign on SSO release starting 27th ( aka you have to re register etc etc ).I did try the offline(local) mode and it seems to be a simple client/view ONLY style dashboard( not user editing etc).. so for me it was just a Viewer to check your system is running..I actually had real data battery etc but could not drill down any deeper..I am also trying Home assistant which is plan b just in case... .hope that helps ..
