System still not working with my EMS so time for a change

I’m getting nowhere fast trying to resolve what I believe is an EMS issue (fault).
So until I can get hold (hopefully) of another EMS to test my theory I’ve decided to try to bypass the EMS for now and see if I can get both my inverters and batteries working again or at least 1 inverter and 1 battery working.
So the questions I have are either for anyone who has a 2 AC Inverter setup WITHOUT an EMS of someone who is clever enough (not me) to know how to wire the data connections and offer any advice

that all I should need to do is run a link cable from my Inverter #1 2-pin meter plug (Grid monitoring) to my Inverter #2 2-pin meter plug (currently monitors solar)
Leave the EMS switched Off and enable ECO mode on both inverters

You have to revert the inverter firmware. Then change the solar EM115 to ID2. There should be a 'dual inverter' wiring diagram somewhere. Modbus wiring - all meters and both inverters are on the same bus.

So I'm thinking I need to source an EM115 programmed to ID3 to swap with Solar ID1 in the event of a re-wire

Contact Owen Brothers - they make the OM115. They sell a Modbus to USB adapter and a 'software package' to change/modify unit IDs etc.
