As an EMS user with multi 5 year old AC3's, if an inverter or EMS developed a fault, is there a local way to recommission in a different configuration? For example, it would be very straight forward to add a couple more EM115 meters which are still available if one of those components went wrong so I could continue fully using the remaining inverters. I did also have the foresight to download a copy of the regular firmware just in case. My concern would be that I wouldn't be able to access the commissioning portal to set the two meters up (assuming I need to) in a standard configuration. Obviously not something I'm wanting to do now as the system is currently working perfectly fine, but would be good to know that in the likely case this occurs in the next 5 or so years, there is a way to easily reconfig the system to run independently. I know there are now paid options for service, but frankly I'd probably just look elsewhere if it couldn't be saved very cheaply.
