I was monitoring my battery capacity (5.2kw and 8.2kw) when I noticed the % capacity which had been steadily charging by 1% every 5 minutes, suddenly increase from 68% - 87% in a space of 5 minutes and then within a further 10 minutes reached 100%!

This has got me to wonder on whether the battery is really 100% charged.
It is a very new system, only about 4 weeks since battery install.
Advice please?

How much kWh did it take? To get from 4% to 100%

What was the battery voltage doing? Did it rise sharply towards then end? This is a sign 100% is reached. Last couple of % the voltage Rises sharply

Hi TheDragon
Thanks for responding. The battery voltage averaged about 54v max 56.53 during the sudden increased period.
I am not sure which reading you want to know regarding the kWh to get to 100%?

54.5 is 100% charge with no current in or out. >56.5V is 100% when there is still some charging current. So once the voltage gets that high, the inverter will decide that the battery is full. you might have seen the current drop off a bit for the last reading or two.

Mine went from an indicated 80% to 100% in a similar way today.
