I have 2x GE 5.2kw batteries. Set for charge from solar and for discharge contribution after 4pm. Have been working well to date with on average 7.5 kWh during evening early morning. Yesterday noticed home on grid as only one battery contributing. Second stuck at 100% and not discharging. Today started at 100% and obviously not charging. How can I diagnose if I have battery issue

Try a dump battery to grid/export until the good battery is empty and then see if they both recharge from solar the next day.
If that doesn't work try a forced charge from grid.
I'm having the same problem with my pair of Gen1 5.2 batteries (Gen3 3.6kw inverter). The slave battery randomly stops discharging leaving the master to continue discharging until they are out of balance. It also disconnects, sometimes for a few minutes but can be several hours. They both charge from the grid and re-balance overnight / the following day but then the same happens again during the timed export session You can see what the batteries are doing via the GE App by going to Battery Graph / More info and clicking on the individual battery, there doesn't seem to be any way of seeing this through the Desktop portal. Also, if you download the 'Inverter Monitor' App from the Play Store you can see all the individual cell voltages and efficiencies. In my case all the cells look fine so I think it's either a wiring/connection issue or a hardware problem e.g. a control board. I'm currently trying to get the original installer to come and take a look.
The bottom slave battery seems to work every other day but is now frequently at 100% and not discharging when export is set. I also see on detail the battery % spikes to 0% during the day maybe once or twice. Clearly unstable. I see there is a firmware update notice on my app. Will this be cause / solution. Is there a battery reset process. Can anyone advise
Further I have looked closely at battery detail and prior to the event of no discharge the battery has reached a peak of 57 volt and subsequently takes a few hours to drop back to around 54v. Maybe why following day it works as voltage remains stable all day as no charge required .? Any suggestions !
Pretty much the same with mine, spikes to 0%, occasionally starts to discharge for a bit but then stops after varying periods of time. Interestingly it always charges back up after having self-discharged to balance with the other battery. Discharging to meet demand seems to be the problem. I've tried battery resets, full system resets and clearing all the inverter settings back to defaults without any success. I've been on the same 3015 battery software for quite some time now and this has only started to happen in the last couple of weeks so I don't believe that's the cause. I think updating the Firmware will just introduce another variable and is probably more likely to brick the whole system to be honest!
