I'm writing this as a warning to others looking to buy a system,
I arranged for my system (3.6 inverter, 8.2 battery) to be installed at the end of August and the panels went up fine.
The other hardware was delayed until early September, then late September, then October with my installer saying their supplier was continuously pushing the date back. At this point I rummaged around online and found a wholesaler with the inverter and managed to get that installed with the promise of a battery in December.
Guess what? December is now January... for an update! So I started calling suppliers trying to source a battery myself and it seems a lot of them are getting the run around from GivEnergy regarding what they'll receive and when.
Yes I know there's a pandemic, but we've been in it for a solid year now and basic project management and honesty should prevent this kind of disaster.
