There's stuff going-on behind the scenes with the Giv portal - I regularly download the Inverter logs (from the portal's Inverter remote control page [https://givenergy.cloud/inverter/XXXXXXXXXX/remote-control]). Typically 7-days chunks. A week ago, or so, the process changed - used to be a direct download of the .csv; now it results in an email being sent, with a link to download.

This probably allows them to queue the report and have it run as a more efficient process and allow them to reduce peak resource requirements and therefore reduce costs.

AWS EC2 or lambda can get expensive quick!

jonhd OK, so sounds like you triggered a Lambda and that dumped a file into S3.
A cheapish fire andf forget task.

GE have definitely changed how you download your inverter logs from the portal. And instead of just downloading a csv to your desktop you now get an emailed link. The link comes through within a mater of seconds of requesting it. I wonder if this linked to whether you are a standard or premium tier customer. I am standard tier.
