Still trying to get my GE 5kw inverter increased from current de-rated 3.6kW to 5kw
Tried with DNO, got the form but require an installer to fill it in.
Found an installer who tried to get remote access to see the inverter but cannot connect, he presumes he needs permission from GE Premium (which I am a member of) who are not answering our e-mail's
Any advice?

I saw in the GE installer guidance that there is a difference in the size of cables for 3.6 vs 5 inverter installs. Did your original install use the larger size cables or do you know your cable run will safely handle the additional power ?

Don't know but thanks for the info.
If I do get past this question I will bare that in mind

Cully If you're expecting GE to agree to change it from 3.6kW to 5kW, they won't.

I’m sure someone on here has worked out how and which registers to change in the inverter to make that happen. It isn’t something that I have seen natively exposed in givtcp.

Why would GE disagree?
Does that mean if an installer applied to the DNO for the change it could not happen?

Cully They sold you a 3.6kW inverter. 5kW inverters cost more.

My inverter is a 5kW Gen 3 according to the attached spec plate
