Is there any way to calibrate a single battery from a multi-battery array without re-wiring the DC and RS485 connections to make that battery the master and leaving the others disconnected?

I wouldn't have thought so, as you want all the batteries voltages to be closely matched all the time, not something that will happen on a single battery calibrate
At the moment, I'm calibrating a second new slave battery by leaving the DC lines connected, Master and first slave turned off and second slave RS485 connected direct to the inverter instead of the daisy-chain port on No 1 slave. Relying on the SSRs in the other two batteries to keep them isolated.
I guess that there's only that way or a direct DC connection to the inverter as well to do it!
Seems to be working so far...
