Is 8kw battery fully charging?

I am a bit confused by the graphs on the portal. Both (old and new portals) say my battery is charging to 100%, but I can't figure out if this is an 8kw charge as "My inverter" says in the battery information its maximum charge is 3kw. I know the inverter puts a cap on how much solar power can be processed, but how do I know that 100% is really charging the battery to 8kw. In this sunny weather the battery is fully charged to 100% by lunchtime and then I start exporting to the grid and I don't want to waste the energy if I don't have to. My house runs on the battery overnight and it is down to about 60% by the morning. I thought my overnight base load was 2-3kw so I think the numbers make sense, but I would just like to be sure - I've only had the system a month and so I'm still learning.

The battery's capacity is 8 kiloWatthours The rate of charge is 3 kiloWatts.

The power graph will give the rate of charge and discharge.
The energy graph will give the amount of charge and discharge.

Many thanks. I can see it now - if I look at the old portal to see my battery at it's lowest percentage charge, and find that as a percentage of the battery capacity ((8kw) and then add on the "Battery IN" figure from the new portal energy graph it comes out to roughly 8KW. All is well!
