Good morning,
A new installation was put in four days ago with inverter : CE2223G894. The notifications show that 'Commissioning' has started and that I will be notified when this is done. I was informed by the installer that this should take 48 hours. I assume I would be notified by the 'notifications'?
Is this a problem?
Generally delighted with the system though thank you.

Sorry....mixing up my 'C's...I meant Calibration. Commissioning IS complete, but calibration is not.

It has now been 11 days since i posted this question. My system has still not completed calibration, or if it has the dashboard has not changed and I have not been informed.
I have submitted this point to the 'support' e mail address and again heard NOTHING.

You should be contacting your installers, commissioning is their responsibility, including activating the calibration run via Ge.

Thank you.
I have done that and they said "The battery has finished its calibration even though the notification didn't come through (I can see the battery fully discharged and charged back up from the monitoring portal- which is the calibration). I believe GivE energy had a server issue last week so not all notifications went through and there were some periods where the monitoring portal was down."
If this is correct, how can I turn off all exporting please? I have enabled 'Eco mode' is that the only setting that needs to be changed?
Regards

airtwisstem eco mode will allow your battery to charge from solar and discharge to meet your house load only, there may be some small export during ramp down but that's to be expected
Edit: also, if you have PV and your battery is full, you will export excess energy over your house load, don't think that can be stopped
but you should ensure that it is in line with your G99 DNO letter of acceptance. If your installation was completed under G98 (ie < 3.68kW installation), you should be fine. If you have more than 3.68kW PV, just check that the inverter export to grid is set at the DNO level (usually 3.68kW). You can't see the limit yourself, it has to be the installer or a call to Givenergy to set.

Thanks Tim and Cdent, That is the most useful information I have had from anyone. I got the DNO offer letter from the installer (only because I asked for evidence) but have also requested the acceptance, because I wanted to be able to prove that it was an approved system. I have not received that yet...
I would phone Giv and my supplier but I am deaf, so written is best.
OMG this is like pulling teeth! Getting anything from anyone is really difficult, so thank you.
Brian
Web chat on the Givenergy website will sort you hopefully.

Thanks Tim. I was not aware of that, I have had virtually no help from ANY of the other channels and find it confusing as to what each channel is for, other than pass the problem back to helpful users like yourself. Brian
