Always charging to 100%

How do I stop my batteries charging to 100%. I set my charge limit to 60% from 0030 to 0430 because I don't want my ev charger to deplete my batteries beyond this point. However whatever target percentage I choose they always charge to 100%.
I have solar and grid selected, charge to 60% between 0030 and 0430 and my ev set to charge during this period.
Ive only just started charging again from the grid since last winter, and three occasions I have used these settings since then the battery has ignored my target.
Am I missing something?

Guzz try resetting all settings back to default in the portal (my inverter > settings > reset to defaults) and then re-apply your settings through the portal, not the app.

Guzz check if you’re using Octopus automations as I hear it takes no notice of Charge to %. Disable it and you should have control again.

I've got the same issue. Support is looking into it.
Even with Automations turned off it still goes to 100%.

danerf I think that you may have to disable automations at the Octopus end.

Guzz ring Giv support. I did and they spotted some legacy settings - they deleted and it was ok again.

pjb904 I'll try to call again tomorrow. Unfortunately my batteries won't charge or discharge now!!

I've been trying to get help from support on this issue for months!! Not one reply from them so far, By the sound of it I should try sticking on the phone.

I've noticed this last night but thought it was an issue with my home assistant automation to set the charge level

Well done, exactly that, GivTCP via Home Assistant turned out to be the culprit !!
