Solcast - 2 sites

I have just instigated the Solcast features within the GivEnergy portal.
I have 2 banks of panels on an apex roof. Initially, i just entered one site (as this is all Solcast would allow) but after contacting Solcast, i have now entered 2 sites, one for each bank of panels.
They have 2 different resource IDs, i seem to remember when adding in the first ID that it stated in GivEnergy that you could enter up to 3 IDs, but i cant find anywhere where you can add the additional IDs.

Can anyone help?

pgbish you'll need to remove the current settings and then add them all in again. I think you have to remove the card first then re-add it

Cdent Thanks, I have tried that and it remembers my settings. There doesn't appear to be any edit function at all for this tile!!

On the demo portal, the Solar Power Forecast has fields to enter the Solcast API Key plus the Resource ID.

The text description indicates you can add up to 3 resource IDs for a single site.

To the right of the Resource ID field, there is a '+' button to 'Add Another'.

Simon_C Thanks, but the problem is i cant get back to that screen, i have the display of the graphs but no where can i find an edit, or way to get back to the entry point you mention where the extra panels can be added

you cant edit it - delete it - clear your browser cache and try adding it again - this gave me the option to add both sites

Just found that under account settings you can delete the Solcast API key which then prompts you to enter new credentials when you click on the solar prediction tile.
Simple in the end, just have to find it!!

Does anyone know where this is in the account settings? I don't see any API setup on that page. I cant even find where to add tariff info which was obvious before.

Edit: So I have just found it under "manage account security".

Edit2: For anyone adding a second site (pitch/array) after already setting up an API on one roof needs to regenerate the API for both sites to become active on the GE portal.

what did you have to do to enter the second?

positor1 I tried adding a second but it never seemed to work correctly. Solcast kindly allowed me to add a second (special request) but in the GivEnergy portal it never seemed to give any sensible results. So in the end, i did a composite (average) position for both arrays, and with a little adjustment, it is usually reasonable with its readings, it is just out a bit at start/end of day when one set gets more that the other.

pgbish I took the composite route as well and with a couple of small tweaks to direction and efficiency it is remarkably good, Currently it is under-estimating a little, so I may tweak it a little bit more.

Got the same issue that you had and would like to try two arrays to see if it works.

I don’t see any API keys under account security, how did you delete yours?

Select "MANAGE ACCOUNT SECURITY", I have the following panels: Edit Your Password - Two-Factor Authentication - My API keys - Manage GivEnergy API Tokens - Delegate Access

Select blue button "MANAGE API TOKENS"

It's ages since I did it but remember it was not exactly intuitive, it was a leao of faith.
