Now that we are on time of use tariffs, today I experimented with the timed export setting.

I set it for one hour during the peak export teatime period. (18:05 to 19:05 to be exact)

This is what the inverted said happened:

The high load from 18:10 was definitely not what the house was drawing. Is this the inverter interpreting the export as load?

Is so, then why is it actually showing export from 18:50?

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see Octopus' half-hourly stats for what they though was being exported.

(Also my first attempt at embedding image so sorry if the code is a bit messed up)

(Also the thread title should be Timed Export Data - I've had a hard day)

I am not surprised that no one has responded top my garbled and mistitled post, so I will do so myself...

Brainwave: Forced export = trigger iBoost = unexplained extra load.

Moral: if wanting to get max advantage from peak export rates switch off iBoost first.
