I've got my maximum charge power set to 2400W but I can see from the power graph from last night that during my timed charge it charged at just shy of 2900W for the whole time. Any ideas why this value isn't closer to what I set it to?
I changed my charge speed to 2000w yesterday, seeing this post I thought I would check what happened and it charged at 3000w. Checked the inverter card and the charge speed is set to 3000w...... I am pretty sure I changed this but I will check it again in the morning.
However I might remove the limit, while the sun is out I would rather dump it into the battery than export any.
My inverter card is showing 2400W and so is the read registers section. The sun? What's that? Generating 89W here!
judgepd Perfect clear blue sky over Norwich at the moment. 1400w on my East facing at the moment, hope it stays like this when it hits the larger system on the West roof!
I really need to get some more panels I think.

Any news on a date for the ID3? (I think)
judgepd Nothing official. I ordered 4th October and the car is not even in production yet. Dealer says March 1st but I joined id3forums who are tracking around 100 orders and based on when I ordered June/July looks more accurate 😢 Tracking spreadsheet https://tinyurl.com/id3tracker

judgepd Oh on the forum lots of people have been complaining about rude dealers. I asked my dealer to chase VW as apparently they are making a statement Q4 and we close to the end of Q4 and still no statement..... My dealer replied basically telling me to contact VW customer service directly! But I will put up and shut up as they gave me the best deal. But some new orders have been told it will be 9 - 10 months before they see their car!
When we test drove an ID4 the dealer said it would be 9 months if we ordered. I'm still holding out hope for the end of January for our EV but if I'm honest I don't think it's going to happen.
judgepd I know a lot of EV's are getting through. The VW factory also makes the ID4 ID5 and the Cupra and Audi cars. Everyone has a backlog of orders :-(
