My Agile octopus tarriff changed to 34p on 1st October but the tarriff on givenergy reports shows 52p which was the to be the rate before the government subsidy. Consequently the calculation for money spent on the Agile tarriff are incorrect. How is the tarriff changed to show the correct amount?
Mine is the same.
Octopus did originally also show the incorrect figure on their own dashboard for a couple of days after the change, then corrected it. I wonder if we have to delete then reinstall the tariff?
wilfleek I've tried this, now unable to re-add my details to the card!
I now have a bill from Octopus, and it shows a debit for "energy used ... @48.88p/kWh" and a credit for "Energy Price Guarantee ... @17.00p/kWh". (Both ex-VAT).
So Octopus are not working with a net price per unit, and API's will need to fetch both the gross price and the rebate, then do their own maths.
Baychattan wow, seems complicated! In the app it shows the correct price, so perhaps this is an interim thing until they sort their systems out
