Solcast Resource id ?

I've created an account with Solcast for the expected PV generation app but I'll be damned if I can find the Resource id to enter. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

You can see the resource ID if you click on the round satellite image/icon of your home, then the resource ID is shown on the top right. I'll upload a screenshot once I have it accessible online...

I'm assuming you have already "added a site" to your account

I can't see anywhere a round satellite image/icon. I have created an account and added a site to my account. Not sure on the Azimuth or Tilt so I just left those blank. I wouldn't have a clue how to find those out. This one has me stumped.

Xx-Mythril-xX The resource Id is on your site summary page. If you click on your site name on the main page, it should show you the resource id

Ah ha. Found it, thank you ! Now, do I need to alter the Azimuth and Tilt too ? Haven't got a clue how to do that...

Set mine up ages ago and it gives quite a good forecast most days

How do I actually find out the correct numbers then to put in ?

Xx-Mythril-xX The tilt is the angle of your panels, ie the angle of your roof.
Mine was on my solar estimate, roughly 30 degrees. The azimuth is the main direction your panels are facing, if you put a number in , it will state a direction

I've managed to connect solcast after going round several times until realising that clicking "rooftop" is the key to getting a resource id. Having added it to givenergy now I was hoping or expecting that there would be an option for it to only to up overnight according to the expected solar energy the next day. Is that not the case? If so the link is only so that I can look at the portal daily and manually alter the Go to up slider?

Epatrickt currently it's just to look at it, and take any manual decisions required, Another contributor did look at something more automated, but interestingly came to the conclusion that a simple metric of "100% winter", "80% spring / Autumn" and "40% summer" or something like that, was almost as good compared with a complex algorithm.

I'd feel much more smug and generally pleased with myself when telling people about my battery if I could say that the system looks at the forecast and takes on energy based on that!

I know i am hoping into a thread kinda with a side comment, but i have just set up Solcast, and i have to say i am rather impressed with its accuracy. Does bring some questions with it like "How can the BBC weather app be so pants?"
Also tho, is there an easy way to get from it the total generation predicted for the coming days? I can see the graph and can guess, but i can't see how i know what its best guess is for total generation.
Any pointers?
