How long does it take to receive a G98

Chrisallen it depends on your DNO, not sure if there's a specific time scale but mine came 6 weeks after install

I believe there is a 45 day service requirement, but if your DNO has to ask another DNO, then there is another 45 days, so it could be a total of 90 days.

This was for a G99 application, but it wouldn't suprise me if the same timescales applied for a G98 application.

Chrisallen G98 should be a formality; just a case of recording the fact rather than any assessment and thus should be able to be turned round in days.

I would suggest contacting your DNO to ask if they have all the information they need.
With ours, it appeared to be waiting for information from our installer (that the installer had already sent them a few months before & copied to me!).
After pointing that out and sending them a copy of it I got a positive response back almost immediately.

I chased mine today after 6 weeks of waiting and received it straight away via email, something about them thinking the system was not compliant but turns out it is.

In my case, 1 hour and 27 minutes. Done by email.

System installed last week, now waiting for export MPAN.
