My system is less than 3 months old and has already failed! The 8.2kw battery now shuts down when trying to connect my (3.6 Gen 2 Hybrid) Inverter using the battery isolator switch making a clicking noise before it dies. I now have to wait at least 2 weeks for an engineer to visit. Anybody else experienced this? Seriously doubting the reliability of GE equipment.

3.0 gen1 AC and 8.2kW 100% DOD

Installed 14th June 22 with AC isolator between Inverter and battery. Symptoms similar to yours.
Resolved 19th Aug 22 with new DC isolator and new Inverter. Good luck.

New inverter! Hope is doesn't come down to that.

Been there and it was a pain to deal with GE. The staff are working flat out, but with increasing sales and not so great reliability its a no win situation. Mine was a faulty board, never got the engineers report - but it was blamed on inadequate earthing arrangement. I would have a better chance of winning the lottery with my luck!
I hope it gets sorted out quickly for you.

Did you ever get this resolved as mine has just started to do the same thing?

Andypep mine had the same issue. Replaced under warranty.

The issue was the inverter.

If the battery will stay powered on when the DC breaker is off, it’s an inverter issue.

If the battery won’t stay powered on, it’s a battery/BMS issue. (The battery would eventually go to sleep though).
