Inverter Offline after Internet Outage

My Internet has been restored this morning after a 5 day outage. All my devices have reconnected successfully, with the exception of the Inverter which is still offline.
I’ve tried turning the power off, and on again, and also gone through the dongle set up process, but still no connection.
Any suggestions for anything else to try please?

You could try triggering a restart from the inverter card on the portal.

c_squared Thanks, tried that, it just says restart failed, Inverter offline.

Try unscrewing the dongle and removing it, then re-insert after a minute?

Also check your router settings, I think it needs a specific type of security and will only run in 2Ghz networks. May be worth turning off 5Ghz whilst setting up.

Finally there's issues with mesh networks and fast something or other. Have a look through the recently updated posts on this site - bit more detail in the other thread(s).

TX200 Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried all this, removed dongle and reinserted, and pressed the reset. Turned off the 5Ghz on the Router, and don’t have a mesh network.
I’ve run out of ideas, Phone call first thing Monday day I think!

How long did you leave the inverter power off for? And did you also turn off the battery (and PV if hybrid)?

Think the shutdown order is
Disconnect inverter AC
Turn off battery (hold button for 10 seconds)
Turn off battery breaker
Wait till all lights go out on inverter and battery

Then on
Turn on inverter AC
Turn on DC battery breaker
Turn on battery.

TX200 This is the same sequence that Paul Landregan suggested on Facebook. I left it off for 2 minutes.
I’ll give it another go in the morning.

I’ve only gone and bl**dy done it!!
I’m not sure what I did, it might have been reinstalling the app, but the Play button appeared, I tapped it and it started working again!!
No local connection but I can live with 5 minute updates.
