WiFi Dongle Question

I had my battery installed just over a month ago using a 4G dongle (there were no WiFi ones available). This only worked intermittently (assumed due to poor signal), but I was seeing some data on the portal every day and could change the inverter settings when it was online.

A few days ago I was sent a WiFi dongle. I have fitted this and got it connected to my WiFi. I can now see live data from the inverter via the app, but there is no cloud data and I can't update the inverter settings via the app.

Does the installer need to do something to get the dongle communicating correctly or should it just work?

Thanks

Are you trying to access the desktop app via https://www.givenergy.cloud/login and getting no results?

Looking at My Inverter "General Page" shows that the WiFi Dongle Serial Number is paired to the Inverter

It is almost certain that your installer may have to change something at their end.

But your situation may be different due to a change of dongle type??

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm getting no results from the desktop at https://www.givenergy.cloud/login. The Wi-Fi serial number on the inverter page still shows the serial number of the 4G dongle so this clearly needs changing. I have asked the installer to look into it.

Installer needs to login as Engineer, go you your account and delete Dongle. Then Add the Serial of the new one
