New customer with a few issues / queries: Is it just me or?
Had a new system installed in first week of Oct 22 by an excellent Platinum installer. I have two 9.5 kWh batteries, each with an AC inverter.
1) After the first few days, the SOC of each of the batteries no longer is 'symmetrical' several hours after using them to power the house. After the nightly Octopus Go charge, this evening I have one at 73% SOC, the other at 43%. Is this usual? I don't really want one battery to be cycled more heavily than the other. And if my wife decides to put the oven on at 10pm, this means there's a good chance that I'll only be able to pull the 3kW from one battery/inverter combo, as the other pair will be almost discharged. It rather defeats my 'raison d'etre' of having two inverters to cope with a 6kW power draw.
2) The stats on the mobile app (Android) don't make sense. At one point today, I had 800W PV feeding a domestic usage total of 300W. But the animated battery current flow shoed that it was discharging! What's going on here?
3) On the Givenergy Cloud desktop, it claims that I have 78.6 kWh generation TODAY. I wish! How exactly is this figure calculated? It makes no sense, when it is October and we have an 8 year-old 3.8 kW PV system that at best is chucking out a daily total of 3kWh in October. The other stats on the Cloud desktop are equally puzzling: 'Consumption Today' is claimed to be 267 kWh. Thankfully this is also an error, but how so and why?
4) The mobile (Android) App no longer updates its desktop every 12 s or so. It seems to have defaulted over the last few days to using only a less frequently updated 'Away' setting, as opposed to 'Home'.
I'd like to think these are simple things but would welcome comments from others who may be able to help me understand what is going on. Is it just me?
Thanks
Bob
