Hi, my inverter is getting hot, 57C is this ok?

I seem to remember once it gets to 60C that it starts to clip output to cool itself. Plently of people on here have posted about their own cooling solutions etc.

Seems a little hot though for this time of year, has it got enough ventillation?

Where is the inverter? That seems too hot for this time of the year, so there must be something else going on...

Our 4 AC3s are all indoors and we can hit 65c even at this time of year if one of the batteries is full and does a long discharge. Works fine. I'm half way through putting fans on them to cool them down once they get over 40c.

My AC3 is outside and while doing a battery calibration it hit 45.6C, I do have fan's but they are not installed at the moment as my cover is off. Once the cover goes back on I will add the fan but will just leave them on all the time. In the Summer. On the hottest day of the year it hit 59.5C at mid night, again that is outside with fans on the heatsink.

From the AC3 data sheet
Operating Temperature Range -25oC to 60oC with Derating above 45oC
