Under Remote Control there is an option to enable/disable "Winter Mode". Does anyone know what "Winter Mode" is and how it affects operation of the inverter/battery? Tried searching the Knowledge Base but could not find any information. Future feature maybe?

Woodstock Winter mode is essentially just one of the settings utilised when an AC charge is turned on, the winter mode settings specifically is the percentage figure, so any charge turned on and set anything less than 100% will turn this on to the percentage figure that has been requested.

Adam-Reynolds It might just be me, but I can't follow that explanation at all, sorry 😅

It's just an internal system thing.
For whatever reason in the original design, if you want to charge the battery to a figure that is less than 100% then you need this set to 1 - otherwise it flat out ignores whatever % you've told it and charges to 100% regardless.
Caught a few of us out in the early days when we were messing around with the API stuff.

It's of no use to the normal user portals, nor if you set things via the API (as it already handles all this flag setting for you) -
If you want to see it working you can adjust your "Charge to" % and read the register but that's all. It's not a secret battery heater or anything I'm afraid!

hoggy Thanks for the information. That explains why, even though the "Charge to" came pre-set at 4%, my battery has been successfully charging to figures up to 100%. Glad I didn't try turning "Winter Mode" on!

Um, on Inverter Settings, 'Enable/Disable' section - has the infamous 'Winter Mode' button been disappeared? AND there's an 'Enable ECO mode' button which I don't remember seeing there? I may be going mad, of course.....
