Export issue

System exporting to grid when battery capacity available?

MartinApsitis can you explain more? Is it small export you're seeing (100-200w) or larger? Are you connected to Home or Away on the app, when was the last update? Is the battery charging as well?

Have you checked the other topics in the forum to see if others have similar things?

So my PV is generating 529W and I am consuming 101W with my battery at 85% capacity. Why is the system exporting 374W to the grid rather than topping my battery up. The battery is charging but only at 57W. There is no charge restriction in settings.

MartinApsitis Are you connected to Home or Away on the app, when was the last update? The thing with the app in Away mode is it's a snapshot in time, and not all readings may be the exact same time (a couple of seconds between each). Also, the inverter has a ramp up/down time of around 10-30 seconds, so you could be seeing the after effects of that - eg. your fridge freezer kicks in to chill, the solar and battery take care of it until it stops, the inverter then tells the battery to stop but there is a small delay as it ramps down so you export.
