Battery charge follows schedule. Battery discharge does not. It just discharges as soon as it stops charging.
Please help / advise.

Ideally you are best to use Eco mode and timed charge. I vaguely recall issues trying to use timed charge and timed discharge together.

GarethRhys I think that Givenergy have missed a trick with ECO (was also known as Mode 1). I think it should just be called Auto mode. It's a pity that installers don't brief their customers to just leave ECO mode enabled all the time, unless you don't want to minimise grid import and maximise PV use. Since the timed settings override ECO, but only for the timed period, (IMO) they should be hidden from view behind a "if you really want to do something else" button.

THALL Thanks Tim.
I have just looked and under the ACInverter I have ECO Mode on already, as well as the scheduled on.
Wondering what combination of settings I need.
Do you know where I can find this?
All the best

GarethRhys You could factory reset which will put it back to ECO on only then apply the timed charge. I have had to do after once or twice over the last 18 months due to firmware update issue. Inverter card, settings, bottom option is reset to defaults

THALL Thank you Tim, I will try that.

GarethRhys @THALL is right that sometimes, the inverter registers don't seem to update correctly and contain values which we cannot see, causing unexpected behaviour. A Reset to Defaults should put everything back to a consistent state (ECO mode enabled, timed settings disabled) without any harm, other than having to put your timed charge settings back in.
