Hi,
As we are new to this, I wondered if there was a way we could check our inverter is working. We seem to have only 4% battery storage for the last 24 hours and the inverter is flashing. Anyone have any idea as to why? Thanks

#p13149 Depends how much sun you have had and the house load. Or as you are new, it may not have been fully commissioned?

07989163662 Inverter flashing blue (not the dongle) means it is waiting. Enable ECO mode on the inverter (Portal - My Inverter - Settings and don't forget to submit), ensure all your timed settings are not enabled. This should then enable battery charge from PV and support house load from battery. It may be that the inverter was part-way through your initial calibration and things may be OK now?

BTW, yes as @positor1 suggests, change your user name to hide your phone number 😃

This is something that I have started to experience recently - bad solar days in November to date - and I have had to restart the inverter to kick it back into life. If you have a look on the Portal > Inverter > PV Data you can see the voltage which should have an equivalent current and power when generating. The datasheet for the inverter has a startup voltage of 140 volts so anything higher that this should mean you are generating power to charge the battery / run the house.
It might also be worth reporting this to your installer / GivEnergy to log the issue.

Tonycooper Mine doesn't start until the voltage is well over 240v - yesterday was 246v. stopped generating at about 16:10 with a string voltage of under 200v.
If the inverter is already on if its supplying the house overnight then it will generate earlier.
