GiveEnergy - Zappi Avoid drain

I have a client with a MyEnergi Zappi that uses off peak tar rigs and wants to charge battery and car in low Octopus tariffs. However if the Zappi is set to boost or fast charge it ignores the avoid drain option and drains the battery. Is there any way of stopping the battery draining or supplying the load in the low tariff period. I do not see an option to avoid discharge on the battery.

This could be a problem with compatibility of GivEnergy battery with 3rd party EV charges.

Anyone looked at this before?

The battery will not drain below the set percentage during a timed charge period. Make sure there is a timed charge period on the battery that covers the charge time set on the zappi.

When settings a timed charge on the web portal there is a 'charge to' value. The battery will not discharge below this level while in the timed charge period.

On the givenergy dashboard, inverter card, settings. Battery options. Or in the timed charge options if they are charging the battery from the grid.

Fast change or boost charge overrides the eco+ option and will drain the battery. I have the same setup at home. My zappi is set to avoid both (drain and charge) then a boost charge set for my Go period and my giverergy system has a battery level set. I lower it in the Summer and up it in the winter. Works really well.
