Battery not discharging. Again

This is happening again. The batteries get to 50% ish and even when there is a heavy load on the house the batteries stop supply. The inverter is showing idle.

WTF is the point of spending £7k on batteries when they don't supply the house????

2x 8.2, 1 X Gen 1 5 hybrid.

Zakalwe 1, is your setup set to ECO mode on? 2 you don't have a timed charge set? Worth double checking down the settings list and even hitting reset to clear any registers that are wrong.

Yes, on ECO. Timed Charge set to coincide with Intelligent Octopus. I've reset the batteries to default and set it up again. i restarted the Inverter and it went to Offline.

The system was doing this for a long period in September. GivEnergy support told me (and I personally dont believe this) that they had set a limit on the battery discharge at their end without my request or knowledge. They reset it and it worked for a bit, but now it's acting up again.

I'm monitoring the individual battery SoC via Home Assistant. I can see that the Master battery is doing the bulk of the work, discharging far more than the slave battery.,

You can see where both stopped discharging last night though.

Sounds like 1 battery is not doing anything at all. Are all the lights normal on it? Also In that home assistant image it looks you have the SOC drop issue too. That vertical line on the 5th.

GivEnergy support are running a calibration now.

I see a lot of those spikes in the data, all coming from the Master battery (the one that seems to discharge more).

There's a few cells in that pack that are displaying wild rises and falls in cell voltage, for example Cell 15:

I presume that this is errors in the data? Surely the cell voltage couldn't drop and then jump that fast?

Meanwhile the slave battery individual cell voltage data is beautifully clean:

Buggered if I know what is going on at this stage!

The battery cell spikes you are seeing look like noise (is that an oxymoron?). Maybe there's a dry joint or some other sort of loose connection somewhere within the BMS?

It's a shame that I am a numpty when it comes to Home Assistant though, otherwise I could use it to smooth the data out!

Interesting watching the calibration at work.

The more active battery has discharged first and is now reporting a zero SoC with the cell voltages all at 3.16V. Meanwhile the other one is reporting 36% SoC with the lowest cell at 3.14V and the remainders at 3.16 to 3.19V.

Strange how the BMS is reporting different SoCs?

According to GivTCP it's exported 14.1kWh so far since the calibration began. It started at a reported SoC of 78%, so I calculate that exporting 12.8kWh should have emptied the batteries (2x 8.2 =16.4. 78% of 16.4 = 12.8), so clearly the BMS hasn't got a blooming clue of the true SoC of the batteries.
