Hi all. Been lurking on this forum whilst I wait for my 2xAC3 inverters and 2x9.5 batteries to be installed (ordered back in May). I have no solar, this is to be a battery only install.
My installer called me yesterday to say that the DNO application had been rejected as the maximum they would allow me to install would be 5kw rather than the 6kw (2x ac3 inveters) i have planned.
I do not plan to export anything to the grid at all - the batteries will purely power my house.
My reading so far as suggested that a g100 application might do the trick and that the GE inverters are certified to limit/block export to the grid?
Just wondering if I'm correct and if anyone else has encountered a similar situation?
