The inverter is set to Eco mode
The Charging time is set to 1:40 till 6:55 am
Once the set SOC target is reached, the inverter constantly charges and discharges.

Does anyone know what is going on? Is there a way to stop this?
Unstable idle during timed charge
ispookie666 All it is doing is holding it at your set Charge to %, waiting for the timed charge period to end. However, it does seem to be fluctuating quite a bit. Ours is below.

There is a lot of fluctuation! I had not been paying attention to it till I started setting timed charge, but I have not noticed similar behaviour when I have used timed charging.
I wonder if this could be due to the charging being activated by HA and being in the incorrect mode?

The Charge to % was set at 75% and you can see that one entered the period at 75% and bumbled along until the end of the off-peak windows at 5am. The other entered the period at just below 75% and had a short top-up. The house load (including 33kWh of EV charge) was fed from grid and didn't interfere with this at all. The BMS was obviously measuring a relatively stable voltage with only a few short top-ups/discharges to keep the SoC at 75%.
Your chart is from HA? What does your portal chart look like?
Yes it's from HA. I'll check what the portal shows.
I presume the GivTCP data is accurate, as this is reflected in the voltage and current chart from Victron.
Anyone else with HA in similar situation?
