So I have a 9.5 bolt battery
9 panels
I'm only getting my battery to fill by 4%, this week regardless of how much sun there is.. Is this normal
If I have a 9 bolt battery is that big enough for 9 panels
I did not have a survey could it be that my panels are not positioned right.
It's all so confusing.. So any enlightment would be fab
New user questions

Hi, I assume you mean 9.5kwh (kilo Watt Hour).
9 panels, are all these facing the same direction? Can you post some figures from the day in question, solar generation graph over the day.
Portal, Inverter, click the 9 square grid, select graphs, leave defaults, just set the date to the day you want to look at
Hi
So.. Gen to home 1.93
Gen to battery 0.38
Gen to grid 0.0
Grid to home 7.47
Battery to home 0.32
Oh ok have this too
Peak power
Gen 621
Consumption 5344
B charge 2432
B dis 2692
G export 4149
Export 2738
I didn't have a survey done by the installer
Get yourself an account on SOLCAST. There;s a free option for home solar intallations. Input the specs of your panels as accurately as you can. This will give you a decent view of what you should have expected to generate from your panels.
Looking at the first set of figures it show you generated (according to your system) approximately 2.2kwh hours. If this was yesterday my generation was slightly less than that with 16 panels (250w). So on the face of it your system doesn't look way out of expectations.
Looking at the second set, it too seems ok. The battery will only charge from solar if there is excess solar over the load you are using in your house.
This just shows you how a crap solar day can be as we go into the winter period.
If you can get yourself on a split tarriff and charge you battery from grid overnight on cheap supply to counter the lack of sunshine at this time of year. This will also help keep your battery healthy.

Something looks odd with those numbers, Peak generation of 621W, yet you have loads of export?
Is this a Hybrid system, or seperate battery and solar inverters?
