When pulling power from battery alone this discharge power is always 50W above what is being consumed. Is this due to ineffiencies or a reporting error?

Maybe the conversion from DC to AC and keeping the equipment running?
I had a theory to myself. The battery constantly pushes out a little more power than needed just in case the house load jumps a little.
Is this normal? Just had a replacement inverter from GE and I can't remember there being such big differences with original faulty Gen 2 hybrid.
