Is it normal that the Consuming & Discharging figures shown in the portal are significantly different. As I'm typing this post mine are:
PV - 0w
Consuming - 554w
Discharging - 702w
Exporting - 8w

Graham_Harrison the portal is a quick look at the figures from up to 5 mins ago, but not necessarily at the exact same time point, so they could be a few seconds between each reading. The app in local mode or GivTCP will give you more accurate data
Graham_Harrison Also, the way some numbers are measured and calculated and the numbers displayed are not 100% accurate. Generally I ignore small numbers (<30w) for import, export and smaller than 20w for PV generation - you might even see PV showing overnight when it's obviously not gnerating. The discharge will almost always be an optomistic response to load and invariably higher. This allows for fluctuations in load to be handled without the battery constantly adjusting.
You should also know that the inverter does take a little bit of time to respond to changes in both PV generation and load. For a few seconds after a jump in either it might look like your system is doing the opposite of what you desire. For example, a cloud covers the sun so little PV generation. Cloud goes away and PV jumps to max. Inverter will take a few seconds to see the spare generation and ramp up charging the battery. For those few seconds the excess PV will be exported to grid and this is what you might see in the portal until it updates.
As a rule, if you see something really odd in the portal get your phone out and use the app an watch it for at least 5 updates - about a minute or so. This will give you a much clearer pisture of what is going on.
Depending on where the measurements are being made, there would be some conversion losses too.
