I have 2 batteries and want to set a reserve for EPS usage through winter. I have set the reserve to 20% but the battery continues to drop below this level.
Any ideas ?

I think there's a fix for that. But maybe only for AC coupled? Well, at least that's what the thread is called. Have a read and decide if you want to apply it or not.

20% is probably enough for 3 hrs, which is likely to be the length of power cuts if they happen. Will that mean that you actually end up paying peak-rate for grid usage on the days you don't need to? I think if the grid does implement cuts, they will give 24hrs notice?

No idea why the battery would be dropping below the reserve. I have mine always set to 5% and it can go a little below that, I guess because the SoC readout isn't 100% accurate (would it be less accurate at lower SoCs?)
Does it discharge all the way to 0% even when set to 20%?
